Bend is an outdoor playground for all ages and there’s plenty of fun for the kids to do and learn too!

Mt. Bachelor  – Mt. Bachelor’s Snow Explorer is a kids program built around learning to ski from ages 2 and up. If your child is already a skier, kids ski free with an adult lift ticket. For something new on the mountain, try a thrilling dog sled tour, snowshoes, or tubing. During the summer months, try zip lining, hiking, the bike park, or disc golf.

Tumalo Creek Kayak and Canoe – located in the Old Mill District and open all year featuring rentals, tours, lessons and youth camps. Tubes are also available for rent, an easy activity for all ages young and old!

High Desert Museum –  get up close with wildlife like owls, hawks, otters, porcupines and more. Chat with live history re-enactors from 1904, including high desert stagecoach drivers, explorers, and a family of homesteaders at an authentic 1880 cabin.

Juniper Swim and Fitness Center – an indoor 25-meter pool is equipped with a diving board, rope swing and a wading pool. Juniper’s outdoor pool makes a great place to cool down in the summertime.

The Art Station at Old Mill District – Located in the historic Bend Train Depot, there’s a full schedule of half day classes from painting to pottery for kids ages 4 to 15.

Sun Mountain Fun Center – indoor fun for the whole family, offering bowling, arcade games, billiards, or bumper cars and during the summer months there’s mini golf, go-karts, and batting cages.

Wanderlust Tours – perfect organized outing that’s fun for the whole family. Set out with Wanderlust Tours and explore Bend’s unique landscapes with a volcano or cave tour. Trips are daily and offered all year-round with something new each season.

The Pavilion at Old Mill – a 30,000 square foot Pavilion utilized by the Bend Park and Recreation District. Their website is packed with information on open skating, skating lessons, hockey, curling and hockey leagues, family skate and parent-tot skate.

Mountain Air Trampoline Park – Open 7 days a week and a lot of jumping fun! Great for all ages, with a toddler zone. The venue also offers a ValoJump arena which is an interactive trampoline platform combined with video game play and an Aircourt offering games of basketball, soccer, and dodgeball.

Cascade Indoor Sports –  is Central Oregon’s premiere indoor sports facility with over 50,000 square feet of fun, sports and family activities. Offering flag football, lacrosse, pickleball and even indoor go cart racing.
